Barry has been a governor at Oakgrove School since 2005 and was Chair of Governors for five years. He is currently a member of the Finance and Personnel committee, as well as chair of the Admissions, Discipline and Welfare committee of Oakgrove School. Both his children attended Oakgrove School.

Barry has been a member of the KET board since its inception and is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of KET. Barry is the MD of an insurance broking business based in London and Milton Keynes.

Sam has been a governor at Middleton Primary School since before it opened in 2003 and has been chair for the majority of that time. Sam is also a Director of the Kingsbridge Educational Trust.
She has worked as part of the Senior Leadership Team in a School for a number of years, so has an excellent insight into the operational elements, as well as experience in the strategic management of schools. Both her boys were educated at Middleton School and more recently at Oakgrove School.
Sam is passionate about educational excellence and inclusion. In particular, she believes all children should have the opportunity to achieve their full potential​.
HEADteacher of Oakgrove School: Mr ian tett

Born and raised in the rolling chalk hills of Wiltshire and now living more locally in Woburn Sands, Ian has been involved in school leadership for over 18 years. After completing his PGCE at the University of Leicester, his first teaching roles were in Northampton, initially as a Teacher of Geography, but later as Director of Humanities. 

In September 2005, Ian started at Oakgrove School, taking on a range of teaching and leadership roles, including being an Advanced Skills Teacher, Chartered Geographer, Director of Humanities Specialist Status and as Senior Deputy Headteacher for Behaviour and Safety.  In the last five years Ian has been Headteacher at Oakgrove and also sits on the executive board for the Tommy Flowers SCITT programme and on the Headteacher’s Advisory group for the Careers and Enterprise Company.

Mr Paul Watts: co-opted
Paul has been a resident of Milton Keynes since 2003.  He is married with two children, who are currently studying at Monkston Primary School and Oakgrove Secondary school respectively.  His involvement in education governance began in 2012, when he joined the Board of Governors of Monkston Primary School as a parent governor and development governor. He then took on the chair of the Finance, Personnel and Resources sub-comittee in 2014 and was subsequently appointed as Chairman of the Board in July 2015.  He has recently headed-up the process of the academy conversion for Monkston Primary School and ultimately its integration into the Kingsbridge Educational Trust
His main vocation is Information and Cyber Security and he is currently the Chief Information Security Officer for Network Rail, the owner and maintainer for the UK's railway network and part of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure.  When not supporting his organisation in maintaining its position as one of the safest and secure railways on the globe, he undertakes public speaking engagements on various topics within the security industry. This includes the advocacy of the safe use of Internet technologies amongst vulnerable demographic groups, such as the young and the elderly. 

Charles is a solicitor with a practice based in Milton Keynes, Gatwick and London. He has lived in Milton Keynes for approximately 25 years and in Middleton for 19 years. He has two children both of whom attended Middleton and Oakgrove Schools.

Charles was a governor at Oakgrove School, from its inception until 2016 and was also a governor at Middleton Primary school for approximately two years. He has been a committee chair and Safeguarding Governor. Charles has served on the Finance and Personnel Committee and the Admissions, Discipline and Welfare Committee at Oakgrove School.

He resigned from both governing bodies when he became a director of KET in 2016. Charles is now director with a responsibility for Safeguarding within the MAT. He has strongly supported the successful growth of Oakgrove, Middleton and Kents Hill Park schools.
